Important Update: Changes to Your WhatsAble Notifications

Dear Valued Customer,

Axel here, founder of WhatsAble. I'm writing to explain some important changes to how you'll receive instant notifications from our bot, and why we had to make these adjustments.

What's Changed at WhatsApp

WhatsApp recently updated their pricing policy in a way that significantly impacts services like ours. Previously, we paid around $0.08 per day for each active phone number receiving messages. Now, WhatsApp charges $0.08 for each individual message we send.

To put this in perspective: some of our customers receive hundreds of messages per month. Under the new pricing, we could end up paying over $200 monthly to WhatsApp for a customer who pays us $7.99. This simply isn't sustainable.

How Your Service Is Changing

Here's what you can expect starting immediately:

Your First 75 Messages Each Month

  • You'll continue receiving instant notifications exactly as you're used to
  • These arrive immediately when events happen
  • No changes to your experience whatsoever

After Your 75th Message

  • We'll send you a notification saying "You have new messages waiting"
  • Click the "Open Messages" button to receive all your pending notifications at once
  • These messages will arrive in proper chronological order
  • If you don't click the button, we'll send daily reminders

The 24-Hour Window

  • Once you click "Open Messages," WhatsApp gives us a 24-hour window to send unlimited messages for free
  • During this time, you'll receive all waiting notifications plus any new ones that come in

Why We Chose This Approach

After analyzing over 1 million messages sent through our system, we discovered that our customers fall into two main groups: light users who send dozens of messages monthly, and power users who send hundreds or thousands.

Rather than passing WhatsApp's costs directly to you (which would make the service much more expensive), we decided to absorb the cost for most typical usage. The 75 included messages cost us about $6 per phone number monthly, and we charge $7.99, so this works for the majority of our customers.

This solution means:

  • Light users: No change to your experience
  • Heavy users: One extra click per day to access your notifications
  • Everyone: Keeps the service affordable

Alternative for Heavy Users

If you prefer to pay per message for completely uninterrupted service, we offer our Notifier Bot option:

  • $8 per phone number monthly
  • Pay only for the messages you actually send
  • No monthly message limits

Contact us via [email] or [WhatsApp] if you'd like to switch to this option.

We're Here to Help

I know changes can be frustrating, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We explored every option to avoid disrupting your service, but WhatsApp's new pricing made this adjustment necessary to keep WhatsAble affordable and sustainable.
